About Dahni

Dahni (pronounced dah + knee) is a business owner, an artist, composer, poet, photographer and writer. He works with various media. Most of his work is available as digital copies online and exclusively at dahni.com On this multi-media site, much of it for FREE, one will also find unique and one-of-a-kind selections for purchase as well as custom work.

Dahni has also worked with many groups, produces training materials and classes on imagination and the creative process. He is available as a speaker. He enjoys working with children and has a security clearance to work with Rochester, NY schools. His public presentations are learned, enjoyable, motivational, inspiring and a lot of fun.

Dahni makes his home presently in Rochester, NY. along with his wife Susan and their two cats. He loves travel, exploring new cultures and he enjoys meeting new people and hearing their incredible life stories. He believes that every human being has a story to tell. Much of the color of his work, comes from the color of the people his meets.

As an artist, his beliefs are that all art should have two purposes. One is the obvious technical aspect which draws our attention to the particular piece and encourage us to become involved with work. The other aspect which he believes is often overlooked, is the emotional or spiritual side to the work. Simply put, HOW does it makes us feel? Dahni believes that art is like friendship. We should approach both with excitement, enjoy the company while we are together and come away from the experience somehow being better, than when we first meet.
